I hold a Master of Science in International Trade and Logistics from the University of Economics in Prague. Although I have been successful in my field, I realized I was missing human interaction and satisfaction that comes with helping others and making a difference in people’s lives. It became very clear to me that my interest in science, human anatomy, and nutrition was my true passion. I began to spend most of my free time reading scientific journals and articles about human body, nutrition, and healthy diet and lifestyle, which reassured me to follow my passion this time. After careful consideration, I decided to go ahead with courses in nursing that I believed would open doors to a variety of opportunities in the healthcare industry. I was attracted to this program because of the courses that would provide me with a very thorough grounding in human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, biology, nutrition, pharmacology, open and effective communication skills, competent and safe patient care, nursing care plans, and clinical decision making based on evidence-based practice. I successfully completed the Practical Nursing program at Technical Education Center Osceola in Kissimmee in 2015 and became Licensed Practical Nurse. I continued with the LPN to RN bridge program at Valencia College in Orlando, completed an Associate in Science Nursing and became a licensed Registered Nurse in 2017. I also became a member of American Holistic Nurses Association in 2019.
With the ongoing demand for continuing education in the healthcare industry, I have learned that chronic diseases and conditions related to imbalanced human diet, environmental toxins, inflammation, stress, mind-body disconnection, and unhealthy lifestyle have been on the rise and that the functional medicine approach, nutrition and self-care are now even more important than ever. I have realized the fact that my completion of the nursing program and licensure as a Registered Nurse was only a stepping stone to further education. I became very interested in the functional medicine approach because it looks for a root cause of a problem instead of focusing on treating symptoms. Therefore, I enrolled into the Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy program at New Eden School to gain knowledge and confidence that my clients can benefit from. I am enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about health and wellness, extremely interested in functional medicine, and eager to continue to learn. I very much enjoy helping people and guiding them towards a healthy lifestyle in balance with nature.
